    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/646576-newcastle-10-players-the-toon-should-buysell-this-summer?

It states we should sell Xisco, Smith, Perch, Guthrie and Routeledge. Add to this Campbell and I think that's about right.

It then says we should sign the following, I am also going to give my opinion on each...

Gervinho - This is the one player I really want us to sign, and it seems as though this would be a very popular choice amongst Newcastle fans. He can play up top or on the wing, won't cost too much and was very impressive in the world cup and so far this season. I say sign him up!

Sow - This ones has divided opinion, he has positives, has a good partnership with Gervinho, strong and a good finisher. But he has only had one good season, so this one is a bit iffy for me.

Puncheon - I am supportive of signing him. Similarly to Gervinho, he is versatile and looks good for Blackpool. Now obviously he wont start but as a cheap back-up option he would be good. Similar to Routledge but he has an end product at times. I would be content with signing him.

Taiwo - He is available on a free and looks very good whenever I've seen him play. Hopefully Enrique wont go, but we need more competition on that side. He is very offensive so can also play left wing if needed. Sadly if we sign him I can't see Jose staying, but if Enrique goes I'll be happy for him as a replacement.

Ashley Williams - Now there is an argument as to whether or not we will need a new starting centre back or just more competition. He has been one of the top players in the Championship for the past few seasons and looks good whenever I have seen him. He is 26 and shouldn't cost too much. I think he would be a decent buy.

So I agree with the sales plus Campbell and I would be happy enough with the above signings. I'm just not too sure on Sow, what do you guys think?

  2. I agree with Gervihno, Sow is a maybe but i doubt Lille would want to sell 2 of their 3 upfront stars.

I don't want to sign anyone from the lower leagues, we need top quality players. I'd rather see what Ireland has and sign him then bet on Puncheon, the same goes for Williams.

I'd like to sign Sturridge, Samba and Gervihno.

I agree with those players, apart from the fact there is no guarantee that Puncheon and Williams will be good enough, I agree with Tash when he says Samba.

Getting rid of the players mentioned would be a good start but it's not very likely that we'd get the incoming payers that are mentioned.

    Be good if we could.
