Every team that's played Brizzle City on the last day of the season has been promoted, going right back to the 2001/2 season.

It means nothing really, but it's an interesting stat.

Bloody hell, that's a hell of a stat.

Paradox - We play them on the last day and reach the play-offs, but then have another 2/3 games. So it wouldn't actually be our final game...

It was Brizzle themselves one year, but the rest were all the opposition:

    2001/02 - Stoke
    2002/03 - Cardiff
    2003/04 - Brighton
    2004/05 - Wednesday
    2005/06 - Southend
    2006/07 - Brizzle
    2007/08 - City
    2008/09 - Burnley
    2009/10 - Blackpool

Thought we played Ipswich away in the last game of the season in our promotion season unless you're counting the playoff final in those stats. Plus these things are there to be broken.

Ours does include the play-off game, that being their final game of the season(they're not actually my stats, they're off a Brizzle board).

How could Bristol City have beaten themselves?? Plus, they haven't been promoted to the First Division for about 30 years..
