Just seen Lee Clattermole has been sent off for the Mackems in the league cup, putting him out of the Derby against us. Our players need not worry about the inevitable injury(s) he would give us!

Means he'll miss our match against them.

    I'm glad for two reasons

    1. The lad can be a good defensive unit when he's got his head on straight.

    but mainly...

    2. I don't know how this **** has not broken Jonas' legs yet, and how the **** he's not seen read during the matches he's played against us.

Catts not being part of the game will mean a potentially good blockade is gone and our players are 400% more likely not to have their legs broken. We don't need more injuries.

    Rofl Agent Catts.

This is the best part about it.

Merged the articles, also sorry to disappoint you again Tash but I think it will be a one match ban. Ciran Clark got one match for the same offence.

How? Straight red card = 3 games.

Professional foul, it's only a 3 game ban for violent conduct.

This. Mark Douglas on twitter also said he'd be out of the derby.

Sky say it was for a professional foul and Clark got a one match ban for the same earlier in the season. Scored in his first game back against us.

If Sunderland were to appeal it, it's not like Clattermole hasn't got previous counting against him.

Rather that than have a player out for the season. I'm convinced we wouldn't have been relegated had he not snapped Habib Beyes leg and put him out for the season.

As for professional foul, I always thought any straight red was a 3 match ban. eg. if you are the last man, that's a professional foul, but 3 games.

Clark was for denying a goal scoring opportunity = 1 game
Clattermole straight red for bad tackle = 3 game

If that is the case that is different, thought that was classed as serious foul play though.

Believe it was DeJong at Maine Road who snapped HBA's leg. Brought his trailing leg around him after he'd already broken the poor sods leg, just to make sure he'd done the job properly. The ref was standing on top of them at the time and didn't even give him a yellow for what should have been a straight red.

The so and so then went on to book Willo and give Citeh a pen for what was a clean challenge.

nono, this is a different incident. It was in the relegation season when we played Wigan. Beye got massive ligament damage after Clattermole threw himself into a typical tackle. I was saying imo if Beye had been fit that season we may well have had a chance at staying up.
