Your winless streak is about to end. My stepdad, who's not an 82 supporter (he prefers egg chasing), has a mate who is a season ticket holder. He goes down to Ashton Gate once a year. This will be the 7th time he's gone to watch you lot and he has only ever seen them win. His mate views my stepdad as a lucky mascot and begged him to come and watch the Brentford game tonight, so he is. Rejoice Teds, for your first victory is almost upon you.
Wiz, I'm quite confident. Six wins out of six visits in six years is pretty remarkable. Especially over the last few seasons when you've struggled. Edit..........Sorry about your news on the job front but keep fighting buddy...
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_1/9097397.stm Have a look at this, It's quite scary the resemblance of it all! Maybe tonight will be the same
The omen may be good but this is a double edged sword for me. If we win then SOD will probably retain a job and could take us on another winless run but a defeat, much though I hate us losing, might convince the idiots in charge that he is not the man for the job
I think we will get our elusive win tonight, but I don't see things being turned around by SoD, and can't see one win saving him. He needs to win 3 out of his next 5 me thinks. Have fun at the game tonight, I'm missing it, which will mean if I miss the win, I am going to be miserable!
Ok so this guy has a winning streak of 6 games. We have a not-winning streak of 19 games. Seems to me our streak trumps his streak. So I still have no more confidence we will win than I did before. I have been behind SO'D up until recently but now I am beginning to give up hope. I honestly can't see us winning tonight and I think the writing is on the wall. God knows where we will go from here - just hope it isn't Down to L2.
Yep, In fact I still think I can feel that nervousness from the 80th minute onwards. It's stayed with me for every game, I don't care if city are 10-0 up with 2 minutes to go, I ALWAYS think "We'll still **** it up!" City have damaged by belief of winning a game. Was that also the game that made Carey cry?
that wont work.......one has to assume that all previous 6 visits have been spontaneous, by insisting he attends it breaks the spontaneous nature of the trip
Cheers Wiz . I've got a job but there's far too much travel. She Who Must Be Obeyed is getting royally pissed off with looking after our three poorly-behaved boys!
That's what I threaten them with Angelic! To my great disappointment none of them are remotely interested in football, yet. But they're 6, 4 and 2 so there's plenty of time.
