The good news its only the first game, there is still time to sort it out and all it would take is a couple of good signings The bad news We've got Grayson in charge and he is just so poor in the transfer Market that we will just sign more donkeys like brown The worst debut ever in a leeds shirt And like I've said all summer he can't tackle Makes me wonder if anyone watched him before
Yeah Grayson's done awful spending all that money he's been given. He's loaded. You going to the protest Saturday Liw?
Season ticket holder so obviously going to the game, and would love to go protest, depends on what time I can get down to the ground
Your right its the first game, and I reckon its going to get a lot worse And I won't be protesting, our main problem is sat in the dugout. We should be protesting against another season of this dire, inspirationless, disorganised, all over the shop style of football he serves us up week in, week out. I wonder if we'll play too strikers against Bradford.... they can be dangerous you know .....!!!! Lets give Larry more cash so other teams in L1 can be strenghened when inevitably his new signings are sent out on loan.....
I cant believe you guys are giving Grayson ****,he obviously has no money. If you had the Leeds job tomorrow and I was the chairman offering you a transfer budget of 1M and a weekly wage of 10K Who the hell would you sign ? A reality check seems to be in order here.
well i'd start with getting what I have got organised, and motivated for the job (seeing as it was Grayson that signed most of them)..... isnt that what a managers supposed to do?
So you don't want Bates out just because you think Grayson's doing a bad job? You don't think it's possible that they both have their faults, except Bates is holding the club (and more directly Grayson) back hugely with his archaic and selfish administration of the club?
No thats not true, got bored typing to be honest. I dont think bates has the ambition to match the supporters and personally dont like him, but he does what he does best, runs a business, you cant argue with that.... If only Grayson could do the job he is paid and trusted to do.... Would I want Bates to sell up?... Sure I would, but what I'm saying if we had a new owner... surely the first change would have to be this out of his depth manager
I can and will argue with that because I think football's more than just a business. It's a retreat for everyday people to quit the dullness in our lives and go have a bit of fun being part of a culture - in our case Leeds United. When Bates jacks up ticket prices, has the highest membership prices in the world, a ridiculously expensive and poor-quality TV service, excludes the Guardian and BBC from the ground, broadcasts games only on his substandard radio station, refuses to disclose the details of the previous owners, refuses to disclose the fees for transfers which we've partly subsidized, takes a cut from every ticket sale, charges ridiculous and myopic season-ticket prices, charges the unfairest prices in world football and builds an East Stand project which will make no money and jeapordizes our future by failing to give Grayson sufficient funds because of that stupidity, do you think that is good business? Do you think that is fair business? Why would you want Bates to sell up? So we can have a sane and ambitious club again and return to our expected level of the Premier League - and stay there for many years to come. So since you admit you'd like to see someone new in and Bates out, come along! Grayson haters are as welcome as anyone.
