    Didn't get a fair shot at it in that first Prem game debacle at West Ham - like rabbits caught in the headlights - but this is a good move by the club.

    If we get another shot at the Prem next year and can't find a better LB, Declan could be a great option to Tayls if we're not soley going to rely on defence to keep us up.

    The fact that its a 5 year deal says a lot about his potential and likely future value.

    A better approach than that taken with Matthews.

    Isn't Nugent on a long contract as well?
