    Morning Troops,

Warnock has admitted that he does not plan to stay at Elland Road and cannot wait to get away.

Warnock was loudly jeered by Leeds fans throughout yesterday's 4-0 FA Cup defeat to Manchester City, with audible chants from the away end calling for the manager to leave Leeds.

The 64-year-old has admitted that he has been frustrated by slow progress in Yorkshire and will leave at the end of the season if owners GFH Capital want him to.

When asked by reporters what he thought about calls for his exit from supporters Warnock replied: "I have spoken to them and if they think it will help them, I'm not against it. Whatever is best for Leeds United, really. I am bit long in the tooth for all that.

Warnock went on to say that he deserves a medal for what he has had to endure at Elland Road in the past year. The NOT606er regulars have all teamed together and have nominated Warnock for a soppy bollox award.

A little while ago we spoke to Millwall Steve about Warnock being up for such a prestigious award, and expect to hear his comments later on in the show

On the whole, I don't think Leeds played that badly. I don't think the second goal warrented a penalty, and losing to a full strength team from the Champions of England away from home, although disappointing, was expected.

Although GFH have made no comment on Warnocks future, David Haigh was spotted recently in Debenhams buying travel luggage and a 'good luck in your new job' card

If you were asked to write a comment in Warnocks leaving card, what would you write?

What worries me is that I think the lads played as well as they could, and gave me the impression that there was not much room for improvement apart from Byram and Lees, and none of em are getting any younger...

Morning all and another week of rumor and counter rumor to come.

The result was as most would have expected as their's a massive difference in the quality of the 2 teams and don't think we disgraced ourselves, although BBC headlines of City Thrash Leeds is unfair. Good to see some clarity from Warnock about his future, and admitting that he doesn't expect to be here next season unless we get promoted. That can hopefully get the team playing well for the remaining 15 games, thats if the players are wanting to do it for the boss. If they do it and get us up, then I don't have a problem with Warnock staying on next season, but to be fair we are a bit too far off at the moment to even think we have a chance, although we seem to be playing bettter of late, without getting results.

We just need GFH to really open up to the fans, because even though Patel has given an interview via phone, its still open to interpretation.

Morning - I felt Man City never got out of first gear, they never had to. I watched the Liverpool Swansea game and Liverpool really were going for it, if Man City had played like that we would have been thrashed by 7 or 8 goals. Did the City keeper have a save to make?

Warnocks heart is not in it, I question if it ever has been, he has lost whatever was there before, probably drained out of him when he was sacked by QPR.

I fear for any new manager unless he has cash to spend, Warnock has built a whole new team from the Grayson era, it is an ageing squad no better than Graysons team, still mid table still leaking goals, JMHO <ok>

Mmmmmm well we'll have to see what happens but surely bagging a hat-trick of golden trophies as seems a foregone conclusion now will be worth another 3 year deal to stay in the ER hot seat! <whistle>

Roll on March 2nd is what I say when we'll be playing for our cup places! <nahnah>

Morning Elland, men v's Boys yesterday, and i think some of players from Leeds found out alot about themselves yesterday, in means of ability and fitness.
GFH need to step forward and show their true colours, Leeds United Football Club and who is associated it, especially the fans deserve some commitment and loyalty given back to them.

Morning Elland and all. Yesterday was embarrassing, simple as that. As Elland said, thats as good as our lot are. What do you expect, they cost nothing and nobody else wanted the majority of them. We peaked in the season we finished seventh in this division and have been in decline ever since. Can people wake up to the fact that in those two seasons, we have transferred half a team to the pl, all doing fine and replaced them with mediocrity or worse every time. What the hell else can you expect only a team like we put out yesterday. I have to smile at this stage when I see people still talking of outside shots at play offs this season.

Morning all. That City team yesterday would have more than held their own in the PL. Given that they've got another 11 capable of doing the same, no wonder we didn't have a prayer. Glad we kept it down to 4 & pity we didn't manage to score. I also think its a pity that a number of our fringe players never got a look in, particularly Hall to give us some width.

Going forward as we now march up the league (in my dreams), I think the best thing Warnock can do is to say that he gave it his best shot, that he now resigns & walks away once a new man is in place, & that GFH wish Warnock all the best in his retirement as Adkins is appointed the new Manager. He can then get us as far up the league as possible this season & prepare for a serious charge with his squad for next season.

One thing's for sure, there will be a serious amount of changes for next season. I'd like Brown to stay and anchor the central midfield. He is still worth his place. I'd like to see some of our youth given a chance, but I'd also like us to play a lot more pretty stuff as much to entice the fans back as anything else.

Spot on and if we give the youth a chance next season and start playing decent football again, the crowds will return. I think we could all live with failing to get promotion providing the team showed promise, enjoyable to watch and actually gave us something to discuss football wise

Thank you Neil, for all that you have achieved, in conjunction with Uncle Ken, at Bellend Road.........................we are not worthy.

Warnock is pathetic. Why doesn't he just resign? He has had time to turn things round but has failed. Does he really need to stay until the summer? Do we have to drag him out?

You couldn't write comedy like this could you. GFH new owners wanting to either sell or bring in new investors, and a manager who told us he would give us a team to be proud of, is now talking himself out of a job. Most of us wrote the season off before it started, due to Warnock having no cash and a long protracted sale process that took months to complete. Yet Warnock was still talking up our chances last week, until we failed against Midds. Now after getting a spanking against the champions of last season, and because he's taking flak from sections of the crowd, he now wants a medal and to leave with dignity. Neil you have completely changed our squad in your 12-months in charge, but we still are a mid table championship team. So no better off than under Grayson. You also told us last season that we would never see a team of yours get battered again, yet we've watched quite a few under your stewardship, so no improvement there neither. We are still in negative goals difference and any team fancies their chances of turning us over.

I watched Mark Viduka and that turncoat Kewill yesterday on TV. They were chuffed to hell about the fighting quality of the kids in our squad, who would run and harrass the best players in the world without fear. These players got to semi finals of the champions league without knowing about the financial problems off the field, until we started selling players. They wanted to stay at leeds as they loved it and the fans and could see they had a chance at winning everything with that team. Once the dressing room went however the mood quickly changed, and it was all down hill. Well Neil did you ever have the dressing room on your side, because all you've ever done is bang on about not having money, and not being able to do thais or that. Your continual whinning has soured our dressing room, and you are always slagging off players who make a mistake. without ever taking any of the blame yourself ....

Aww, I think you're all being rather mean to poor old Colin...

He's done a great job for you all. Look at you, sitting nicely in mid table. It's an improvement on last Season is it not?

Keep Calm and Trust in Colin ****er! ;)

Warnock has a great track record at getting teams promoted.

Do most of you really think he's the one to blame for your current situation or has a lack of funds been the reason?

I haven't followed all the goings on at your club but you had a decent squad not long ago and it looked to me like you sold the quality players who could turn a game and replaced them with so so players. And that doesn't equal promotion regardless of who the manager is.

That performance against Man City was woeful. I expected us to get beat and beat well but the effort didnt even seem to be there. We had one shot on goal and that was from a RosCo free-kick which in fairness wasn't a bad freekick (pantimilion did well, most goalkeepers woulda side stepped once the freekick was taken and had a problem dealing with it) but it was softly given. Other than that I think Austin had a shot from the wierdest angle and went about 20 foot too high and around 30 foot wide.

They coulda easily have gotten 10 goals imo if they wanted. The penalty just wasn't a penalty but it wouldn't have made a difference. I think you must worry when your manager doesn't even have a plan B. We came out second half and despite subs (taking off probably the two best players of the first half) were playing exactly the same way with exactly the same formation and exactly the same lack of commitment.

As I say it wasn't the result that annoyed me, it was the way we played and it seems like it every time we play.

I think we need to look longer term, get in someone who is younger (adkins seems like the man all the fans want) and try to change the way the club thinks. I love the way swansea have gone about it and they really have set an example of how to run a football club to get them into the prem. I think little pressure on a new man to get promoted next season with the real aim the season after and building a core group of players that have the potential to play in the prem, currently we have Tom Lees and Ross McCormack that can actually be put in that bracket. We need to build the spine of team and the football club as well
