G'day mates, Just over a day to go, and there is a good deal on the table for Becchio. Guess who, its the Caneries That right, Norwich City have (are in the process) of offering 3.5m plus Steve Morison going to Elland Road. To me, that sounds like a good deal. Morison is a good striker, and that would give us money to buy some wingers to finally give us some width. Thoughts? A deal to be Habibou to Elland Road is ever closer. We believe he is in direct talks with Leeds Utd, and a deal in the next 24 hours is likely. We also know that Leeds met up with the 25 year old on the 6th January in Marbella. Leeds are set to bet Wolves and Bolton to capture former England left back Stephen Warnock. Shame we are not giving Aidy White a chance to prove himself after impressing against Spurs last weekend. Where does this leave Drury. Could we see Drury leave in the next 24 hours. After all Nunez has left the club whilst Kisnorbo has extended his loan from Ipswich to the end of the season. If Norwich are offering us £3.5m + a decent forward, I'd take that & use the money to buy a pacey winger or a game controlling CM. Really can't see the point in getting Warnock, Stephen that is, not Colin. Sunday showed that White has to be given time to develop & only injuries keep him out of the side. Nunez' departure is a shame, but it just didn't work out for him. Kisnorbo's loan being extended suggests it's not yet a done deal that he'd be moving on come the end of the season. He may not now be that quick, but he is fully committed & always puts in a full shift. A very good CB to have on the bench keeping the starting two honest & on their toes. Pity about the £500k. I quite like the rugby union way of deciding when a game ends. The ball has to go out or there is an infringement where there is insufficient time to take the free kick. The missus reckons I won life's lottery when I married her. But apart from not being a gambler, I did miss out on a few quid on honeymoon when the ball stopped on one number & the wife thought it might stop on the same number again. Morning All, Ease up, lads. It's only the Mirror saying £3.5m plus Morison. The Scum is saying it's Becchio PLUS £1m for Morison! Phil Hay is saying a straight swop! So I guess none of them know. Only common factor seems to be that LB's off to Norwich. And he's not even our captain .....
Becchio + £1m for Morrison? Someone's having a laugh given that the worst case scenario would be that we refuse to sell & let him walk for nothing after NEXT season. Given where he's been with us & the dark days of L1, settling for letting him walk on a free if we've not got promotion by then and been in a position to be able to make suitable adjustments to his contract doesn't seem a bad option.
Morning all I'd take 1 mill & Morrison Put it this way, if we got 3 mill for Beccs we would probably buy a striker for an undisclosed fee which would be under a million no doubt so this way even if we dont reinvest we have a decent striker at this level. I know I sound cinical but thats the way the club has made me over the last 10 years! Oh, and for anyone interested I slept like a log last night, no ghosts in site

Nah, I pretty much know I didnt see one I was planning on getting spannered in the bar, but £5.00 a pint, even if my work was picking up the cost was taking the piss! Not to mention the QPR/City game wasnt very good. So yeah, there was a few spirits behind the bar, but I think they generally stay there at those prices
donno if I am disapointed, you never know how you would really react in that kind of situation. My god, Talk Sport just retweeted a rumour that Watford have bid £2mill for Nathan Redmond! Warnock GET him! Even if we have to use all Becchio transfer money! Just the sort of young, up and coming pacey winger we need to move this club forward and make playoffs!
TC, have you been to Bursa recently? Makes Deptford look posh. Would be really amazed if Becchio was to go there..... never mind the Turkey angle to all this. They're also not a particularly big club in Turkey. So even less likely. Decent effort at wumming though TC.
Boggers - Bursaspor are about employ Berkhhio's hero as their manager. They have Carson and just signed Anton (you bla*** c***) Ferdinand n loan for rest of season. Been informed that this is the club that have already made 3 offers for Berkhhio
