Rodolph Austin has given an exclusive interview to BBC Radio Leeds reporter Adam Pope and he says that former Leeds legend Eirik Bakke has been a big influence on his career and told him what a fantastic club Leeds is. The Jamaican international speaking to Radio Leeds said, "Leeds have made an offer and I am waiting to see what the outcome of it is. Former Leeds favourite Eirik Bakke played with Austin at Brann and Austin says he has had a big influence on his career and he has told him all about Leeds United. "It is a big club and they have a big history. They have done well over the years and are trying to get back into the Prem. This Austin thing looks like its moving forward apace. As with everything else, I'll believe it when I see it. But things are looking up. I see Wednesday are offering Barton a lifeline. Doubt he'd do it, but worth Warnock seeing if Barton would come to Leeds if his wages could somehow be managed?
Morning Boggers, I saw the Barton - Wednesday link. The only reason he is being loaned out is because Championship clubs play a lot more games than in the Prem and will eat away at his suspension quicker... I'd have him at a shot
Not terrible sure Barton is worth the baggage he brings. One thing for sure, I'm off to Spain with family on Saturday and I'd hoped the damned takeover would have been done before I went. Probably could be some weeks to run yet on that one
Morning all - Was a very disappointing day yesterday - No big news regarding the T/O other teams joining in the chase for our targets (Peltier) and offers arriving for our better quality ones (Snoddy) and nothing for the likes of AOB, Paynter and company and of course nobody coming in. First pre-season friendly just days away when we need the team to be gelling together and we are half a team short still. I have totally lost patience with it all now, the whole thing is a bit of a shambles and I look forward to the day Leeds Utd stop becoming a laughing stock and a target for rival fans to take the piss out of. I need some positive news today, if it isn't the T/O lets hope Warnock can bring in at least 2-3 of his targets....
Morning all, are we ready for another frustrating day? I hope the Austin deal happens which should cheer many of us up, and it does look like the lad has played his last game in Norway. Barton is a twot and has made too many disparaging comments about Warnock on twatter, so no chance of him coming to us. I hate the low life, but would love him in a Leeds shirt for a while. I saw the Pope interview last night on telly and its amazing that nobody knows what the hells going on. Nobody knows who the investor is or even where they come from and this has been going on for a couple of months ffs. Favourites are still Bahrain linked, but if true it looks like a front man and his backers, which is different from Royal family money. I guess we'll have to just wait and see, because no chance that the press can get off their arses and do some investigating. So far our new team will be slightly better than last season, which is not good as mid-table will be a struggle. On top of that if Snodds and Ross vanish we'll be behind last years team, although probably stronger at the back, so may not see 7 go past us in one match. Bates has crippled this club

Morning all I think BIG is back of holiday any day now, so we may get some info soon all to cloak and dagger again for my liking. I am sure its just me & my lack of patience as those books must be a nightmare to wade through. And also if Bates is haggling a price between a consortuim that could also get messy. To be honest I am losing the faith a bit. Austin signing would chear me up a bit as he looks tasty. Also in regards to Snoddy I just dont care anymore. If he wants to go let Warnock handle the negotations or at least set the price so he can rebuild. Wouldnt hold it against Snod if he went, we are a mickey mouse football club under Bates & mates and it might be the only way we dont need to sign freebies. Yep, im in the office again so appolgies for the depressing rant! Lets have some good news today, everyone of us deserves it!

Where did I read that we got £1m for Schmeichel? 100% profit on Lonners looks good on paper, but I think he's worth more than 200k. He may have had the 2nd highest amount of goals put past him, but he did stop plenty. The ever changing CB combination didn't help. Like everyone else on here, I just want to see something positive on u no what. Getting Austin would be a positive today as well, as would Snoddy & co. signing extensions.
