Morning Leeds Fans,

No football over the weekend to report on, the spotlight will be well and truly on Uncle Ken tonight. He will claim he did not to know the identities of the ultimate owners of Leeds United. <yikes> <yikes> <yikes>

Ive got some interesting stats regarding our great club.

Shooting
Leeds leading goalscorer Ross McCormack has had the most shots by any Leeds player this season.

The striker has had 40 attempts on goal with 24 on target, netting 9 times.

McCormack is a long way ahead of the next Leeds player who is Ramon Nunez with 21 attempts.

Robert Snodgrass has hit the woodwork twice, the most by any Leeds player.

Leeds have hit the woodwork four times with McCormack and Howson the other players to hit the frame of the goal.

Luciano Becchio has a 100% record having scored with his only effort on target so far this season.

Leeds have had 99 attempts on goal so far this season, 64 on target and 35 off.

Only five teams are below them with Doncaster Rovers having the least with 87.

Peterborough have had the most attempts on goal with 154, 89 on target and 65 off.

Goalscorers
Ross McCormack is setting the pace at the top of the goalscoring charts in the Championship so far this season.

The Scotland striker has netted eight times in the championship, the same as Southampton striker Rickie Lambert.

Overall, he has netted nine times, with one coming in the Carling Cup v Bradford.

There have been nine different players score for Leeds so far this season. As well as McCormack 9, Nunez 5, Clayton 2, Keogh 1, Gradel 1, Snodgrass 1, Lees 1, Pugh 1 and Becchio 1 have all found the net.

Assists
Robert Snodgrass is proving a good supply line this season having had an assist to six Leeds goals so far this season.

His six assists are the most by any player in the championship, one ahead of Matt Taylor - West Ham United and Adam Lallana - Southampton.

Eight Leeds players have had at least one assist to a goal so far this season in the championship. Adam Clayton 2, Ross McCormack 2, Jonny Howson 1, Lloyd Sam 1, Charlie Taylor 1, Mikael Forssell 1 and Luciano Becchio 1 the other players.

Discipline
Leeds are currently in fourth place in the championship for the worst disciplinary record. So far they have made 113 fouls, have received 20 yellow cards and 4 reds.
Only Portsmouth, Millwall and Brighton have worse records.

Leeds have received the most red cards with four. Portsmouth, Leicester, Ipswich and Middlesbrough are next with two.

With 20 yellow cards, Leeds are in 5th place with Portsmouth 25, Brighton 25, Leicester 23 and Blackpool 22 the only clubs to have received more.

Midfielder Adam Clayton is guilty of the most fouls so far in a Leeds shirt having committed 16 and he is joint 5th in the division.

Middlesbrough player Barry Robson has committed the most with 24.

With a one match suspension for anyone receiving 5 yellow cards before the turn of the year, Clayton, O`Dea and Howson are the nearest to suspension with 3 each.

Leeds have so far seen fourteen different players receive at least one yellow card.

Players Used

Leeds have so far used 26 different players this season in the championship.

Only Barnsley with 27 have used more.

Only four Leeds players have started every Leeds championship game this season. Ross McCormack, Andy Lonergan, Robert Snodgrass and Darren O`Dea the players to start all nine games.

McCormack is the only player to have started all twelve of Leeds league and cup games.

Clean sheets
Leeds managed their first clean sheet of the season in their last championship game of the season against Portsmouth.

Only Peterborough United have yet to keep a clean sheet.

Middlesbrough have managed six clean sheets in ten championship games.

Attendances
Leeds are currently down on attendances this season with an average of 23,412 going through the gates at Elland Road. (14% on avareage lower)

The highest attendance was for the home game with Middlesbrough (25,650) whilst the lowest was 22,363 (Hull City)

West Ham are leading the way with an average of 27,844 and they have also had the highest attendance in the championship for their home game with Peterborough (29,895).

Derby County (24,414) and Southampton (23,941) are also above Leeds in the highest average

Instead of song of the day, lets have theme tune of the day, and I think I've got an adaquate choice which links in nicely to tonights telly, though your input would be appreciated.

Everyone still celebrating the Rhinos quite majestic win.

Possibly the best 40 mins of RL I have seen that second half. Rob Burrows immense. Such a little person too.

Brilliant game it was.

I'm just not a happy bunny today with being lectured about our loyal support because attendances are down.

if hes such a super ****ing fan he can tell us how we are supposed to act. oh ****ing great one he is.

Morning all. I spent Saturday watching Colchester draw 2-2 with a Yeovil side who didn't want to play at all. God knows how they managed to score twice, just hoofed the ball up to nobody whenever they got it. Reminds me of the old conference days, except they weren't actually aiming for anyone.

Off to Vegas on Saturday. Thought i'd start early and won £300 on betfairs slots last night and won another £100 learning to play craps.
Hope I haven't lucked out before i've even got there.

I did Manchester, to Philadelphia to Vegas…8 hours to Philly, and 5 hours to Vegas… urgh.

Next time I will be doing direct with Virgin from Manchester.

I stopped at the Circus Circus, cheap, cheerful and did the job it needed to which was offer me a bed to sleep in.

I would want to stay further down the strip if I went back though.

Mandalay bay is just beautiful.

We're flying direct from Gatwick with Virgin Atlantic. Doesn't seem worth the stop and it's pretty much a day lost if you do it there and back. Not looking forward to the 11hr flight at all. Think it's going to have to be a massive film marathon.
