Hey Peeps, Another midweek game.... I remember the good ol days when 99 percent of matches would kick off at 3.00 on a Saturdfay afternoon....bla bla... Lees has gone for an eye scan to find out the extent of his injury, who should replace him? Leeds to to make Tonge deal permanent, good or bad? With Somma and McCormack closing in on first team action in the next 2 / 3 weeks, who should make way for them? It seems Diouf would like to stay, but wants a hefty increase in his wages. Is he worth it? Who is the most improved player this season, compared to your expectations of this player? On the flip side of the coin, who is the most disappointing?
Morning all. Diouf certainly worth a substantial pay rise. Where do we find a free to replace him on 5k a week if we let him go. As usual, of course we won't. Where did you see Somma was that close to a return? A couple of weeks back, Warnock was downbeat about his chances. Likely it would take him a long time to get his match fitness and sharpness back after this length of break. Fo me, Byram has been the big positive. The downside is that Premier clubs already looking at him and probably wont be long till he's seen in a Norwich shirt. Tonights game really is a must win if were to harbour any hopes of staying in touch with playoff places and to be honest, I dont feel very confident
Morning Eire, Ive got a good feeling about tonight. A 3-2 win for us tonight.... Hope Diouff gets a 2 year contract. Lets say 12k a week
Morning Elland, morning all those joining. Kisnorbo should replace Lees otherwise there would be no pint in him staying. Whatever else he may or may not be able to do, he will certainly get his toe, head, & just about everything else in the way. Not sure about Tonge, as I haven't seen enough of him. But the mood music suggests we should. So good enough for me. Somma & McCormack returning soon. Umm, McCormack would walk straight back into the team & where he plays would depend on what formation Warnock wants. But I would suggest he, EHD, & Becchio rotate. As for Somma, I think after such a long lay off, he would go either to the development squad to improve his fitness, or be loaned out for the same reason. Only for a month though. If Diouf wants to stay & could accept wages that put him on a par with McCormack or any of our top earners, then yes sign him. Our most improved players this season have to be Byram & Poleon. Both are still kids, yet are (or will be on his return) pushing for or getting starting places in the first XI. The most disappointing may well be White. But this may have something to do with Warnock either playing him out of position or constantly moving him.
Morning Boggers, Bring Kisnorbo back Only if he can ride one of those electric buggies. He'll be quicker in one of those. He's far far too slow. I'd rather draft YWBK in.... I'd have to agree with you with White. I was really excited when he re-signed with us. Im not sure Warnock knows where to play him?
Elland, Kisnoro doesn't have to be particularly quick. He has White to cover his lack of pace. What we need is someone who knows when, & more importantly, how to tackle. Friday showed that there is a fundamental problem in the back 4, & playing Pearce out of position didn't help.
Morning. I have an important question this morning, does everyone else have the same desire to punch Linekers lights out, as I have? If he starts another MOTD with his irritating "I know I keep saying it, but THIS week we REALLy do have the best set of action we have had all season blah blah blah..............." I swear I will investigate where I can take out a contract on him. (No doubt the Millwall based Leeds fans on here will be able to advise on that one )
Boggers I'm fat n I'm a lot quicker than kissa as nice as the guy is he's doing a great job where he is
You're not fat YWBK, you're just under tall. You should be about 8 ft 6!!! No I maintain that Kisnorbo needs to start if Lees can't. If he doesn't what's the point of keeping him & absorbing his wages? It's also his opportunity to show why he deserves to be retained for 2013/14, as Bromby will be back soon & I doubt we'll keep both on for next season.
Can't see either of them getting a contract tbh I also think we wouldve kept odea n bromby would have gone if he hadn't got that injury. Since injury kissa was effective if one game where they played hoofball he won all the headers but on the floor he will be rinsed weekly if played. League one is his league now
Kind of hope neither of them get a further contract. If they do, itll show were making absolutely no progress in terms of improving our squad
