Good Morning All, Wow, what a result. 1-0 up, 1-1, 2-1 up, 2-2, 3-2 up in injury time. Not only that, but the Wall whipped Lesta, Brizzle lost and manchester utd got thrashed, does life get any better!!! Anybody wanna give player ratings ? I know have a really good feeling about this year, really hope we strengthen in the January transfer window for a few decent squad players, and get rid of some of the dead wood, which players therefore should be shown the exit door? I know its early doors, but if we were to go up to the promised land, which of our players would be good enough for the Prem, bearing in mind these players will be a year older? Song of the day, yazz, the only way is up :-
Watching the scum vs scum game yesterday made me realize once again how much I miss the top flight. It should be us whipping the scum again at their place. It might be a corrupt, uncompetitive, overhyped mess, but it's a corrupt, uncompetitive, overhyped mess I want Leeds in. I reckon the entire squad could do well under the right circumstances. The first season in the top flight is seemingly more about mentality than ability (look at how Stephen Crainey played his opening games for Blackpool!) so it's hard to categorize it as the wills and will nots. I think our best players would still be Lonergan, White, Clayton, Howson, Snodgrass, Becchio and McCormack. Keogh, Connolly and Pugh would probably do fine as well. I agree we'll likely need to strengthen in January too. Our strength in depth doesn't look brilliant, and we're still in need of a couple of players to keep us ticking over till the end of the season in my opinion - signings which will ensure we don't have our usual post-Christmas slump and screw up our promotion chances again.
Morning all What a weekend, I thought I was gonna have a heart attack on Saturday never seen anything as mental before in my life Pags sorry for ragging u Elland still not had chance with the book mate but will get it read ASAP, I thought I saw that Gary Edwards guy at the game but LIW n Pags said it want him but I still think it was
I didn’t think his hair was so long and straggly Kissa that’s why I thought it wasn’t him. And boy, honestly, if I had fallen, you’d have had a black eye
How good was that tho great day absolutely loved terracing! Apart from Sonic it was all good and that guy who kept farting (making me gip now)
The bloke who kept farting was disgusting...urgh. but it was brilliant. every womans dream, stood in the middle of all them blokes
Kissa, no probs mate, read it so often, I know it off by heart. Pass it onto Pags, when you're finished with it. Got other Leeds books I'll send ya, when you've finished with PIW. Kissa, did Pags liked getting Ragged. Leeds 18, look at Richardson and Harding, are both Saints regulars flying high at the top of the championship, both ex Leeds players in league 1 (I spoke to Frazer Richardson, tried to sell him a house, when he had just signed for Saints, nice lad, down to earth)
Ragging must be a Yorkshire thing. Its like I would say “I’m gonna rag you all over” which means I’m gonna batter you basically…
Not nice seeing your lass getting taken from behind by five blokes and her loving it, while you can only stand and watch
Liw, was it worth watchin your lass get ragged if it meant we won. I think its called 'taking one for the team'
You know we where trying our best to find Boggers well typical I saw him just as I was walking out but I wasnt 100% sure it was him so I didnt shout him.
How many Leeds fans made the visit, heard from a posh fan on not606 that a lone Leeds fan was in the home end (probably ragging)
4200 apparently (not good enough according to Adrian **** Durham) Outsung them and they had the cheek to sing "Shall we sing a song for you" Comical bastards
