Meanwhile, ex-Sunderland manager Ricky Sbragia has been announced as the new coach of Scotlandâs Under-17 side. Sbragia was on a three-man shortlist for the post of coach to Newcastle Unitedâs Under-18 team, but the 55-year-old has decided to accept the job with the Scottish FA instead. Sbragia stepped down as Sunderland boss immediately after the Black Catsâ Premier League survival was confirmed in May 2009, and remained at the club as chief scout until April this year.
