Cardiff fan here hoping you beat Watford tonight.

Although a win for you will bring you closer to us, my priority as a Cardiff fan is for Watford to stay as far from us as possible. For both teams the priority is getting over the auto promotion line and we can worry about the title after that. The consensus on the Cardiff MB's seem to a Hull win as the preferred option tonight. If you win tonight and we beat or draw with them at the weekend that should guarantee the top 2 spots for both teams barring a major disaster.

If we both have claimed the auto spots come the last game of the season then that will be a cracking game and atmosphere.

Heres hoping you beat Watford as well.

The final day just seems destined to have two trophy presentations at the same stadium, and that would be a cracking end to the season.

What a party that will be.

It's weird, we should both only be looking at first, but a win for City tonight and for Cardiff at the weekend, and the gap for both clubs could be pretty much unbeatable.

Meh. Who cares about first place anyway. 2nd is our traditional promotion berth.

We usually go up second, it's a tradition that I'm more than happy to stick with and I'd rather see Cardiff beat Watford at the weekend, though playing for the title on the final day(assuming we're already guaranteed promotion), would make for one hell of a day out.

Thanks, would be great if we could have one big promotion party on the final day of the season. Think Cardiff have first place pretty much wrapped up and have deserved it over the season. I'll just be delighted to see us go up. Cardiff V Swansea will be cracking to watch in the top flight!

It's all about being fair. We feel guilty about denying you a chance to go to Wembley in 2008, it's only fair you go there this year. Take third. It's yours! Wembley's lovely in May.

It would be FANTASTIC if the Championship Title went down to the last game of the season and both teams were already promoted.

Having said that I don't think many up here will be looking much beyond tonight.

I appreciate your generous spirit. To be fair....if promotion could be guaranteed, going up via a Wembley final is the best way to do it for sure......it's just so bloody nervy.

....and if we are being fair, could you play just as crap as we did when we played you at Vicarage Road earlier this season? That would be very kind of you.

I seem to remember that your manager felt Watford were well beaten by a good team on the day rather than it just being an 'off day'.

You probably deserve first place. You've been the most consistent team and have been up there all season. And you have the best player in the division in Whittingham IMO. Would like to see it come down to the last day at the KC though to see who goes up as Champions. Just beat Watford for us on Saturday!!

Our only problem about tonight is that city don't do things the easy way.

Thing about playing for the tittle on the last day is, if we lose it will feel more like losing a cup final then getting promoted - put a dampener on the mood.

Come on now John. You know that the City way is to beat Watford, then lose to the (easier on paper) game against the Smoggies, or Ipswich

Yep, in fact we smashed Watford on telly in the playoffs. But you'll struggle to find a city fan that wants to be on it.
