It's gonna be a struggle for you to avoid relegation, but i'm sure you can do it. <ok>

I wish Nigel Pearson the best in his job next season, whoever that's with.

Caretaker at the moment, but the job's almost certainly his, assuming he wants it.

And James seems to take everything quite badly, he's a very angry man. :bandit:

We'll be more of a threat with NP imo, and we all hope that we will be, but only time will tell on how big a threat we will be to the automatic places.

Im hoping for a top 6 finish, then hopefully a trip to wembley <ok>

I wish you and NP well. Despite the way he left, there is no doubt he's left us in a better shape than when he came.
If nothing else we owe him for getting rid of the cockney reject.
I trust we can put this behind us now and concentrate on our respective teams.

Why would us Hull fans be bitter? 2-0 up away at Derby.

<laugh> Looks like you took the wrong people from Hull.

I lived in Leicester ( on filbert st actially) in late seventies and saw linekers debut!!
Despite all that's been said over the last fortnight there is not much between the cities. Didn't like being 100 miles from the coast though!

I must admit for a couple of days I was very angry about NP leaving, but after a week I was bored of the whole saga.

Now I'm back to not caring about NP and back on an even keel.

Most Leicester fans (in real life) have always been decent, a lot like the Cov fans I know as well. We are all very similar cities, and clubs with a similar outlook (despite us being the only team out of the three to never win anything significant!).

Can we stop all the slagging off now and save it for plastic fans who never go to games? Or the moneymen who are destroying the heart of the game? (not having a dig there, you aren't spending obscene amounts as yet!)

I don't care who you support.

Can I join the love in!

I hope in a couple of years we are both in the prem, where we belong, Hull is a big city and the football is probably overshadowed by the rugby?

Hope you get a decent manager in as replacement.

Sorry cannot agree with your Cov comments, they are going down and good riddance!

So are we local rivals then? No...

Jesus H Christ, you're not our favourite club but we're hardly going to be unhappy that you're beating Derby!

You're not bitter but you start wumming on our board the week we take your manager off you. Coincidence?

I just wish once, just one time, a wum could be honest or at least be slightly believable when bullshitting.

The Leicester owners need to give NP some time and not just try and throw silly money at the problems. It would be more sensible for Leicester to have a two year plan: spend this year building a young talented team ready for promotion the next season.

NP has experience of that.....shame he left before he finished it off.....now it's down to Barmby to add a bit more goalscoring bite to finish off NP's excellent work for us.

I'm sure you'd all prefer to have some youngsters moulded into a footballing team rather than just throwing money at players to jump into the Prem.

Yeh that was presumably the idea when we brought in Sven. He didn't build a team though, he risked it all on getting in the play-offs last season with several loans and very few permanent signings. Then when it didn't work he had to start from scratch in the summer, and that didn't work either.

I when we are only a few points of the play-offs I don't think we can just accept this season is a write off, that's why we sacked Sven so early, so that the new man would still have time. Pearson hasn't inherited a really **** squad, or even an average one like Sven did. I'd still say we have one the best groups of players in the league. It's not really as simple a case of 'throwing money around' nor bringing in youngsters over a two year period. It's a different situation to when he took over you, needing a big overhaul of players as you tried to balance the books. We are missing a winger but mainly a manager who can get them playing as a balanced team who play to it's strengths and fight for one another. These are qualities Pearson has shown with both our clubs so hopefully he's the man to do it. We are not in a shambolic position, we have the tools to succeed we just need someone who can use them.

It's unreasonable to expect the top 2 now but I do think the play-offs is a fair expectation. I do agree though that the owners should give him time, at least as much as Sven, then again I think Sven was given enough time to prove he was, or as the case was - wasn't the man for the job.
