Norwich fan in peace.............. Wishing Leicester City well for the new season. I am not going to make any hard predictions about how well you will do but I would think the play offs look most likely with the auto spots just a little out of reach. All the best guys
And good luck to you in the Prem mate. Always rated Lambert as a manager. And thank you for winning me £150 quid last season at the bookies.
Good luck to you boys, with all the usual quotes and stuff, be difficult your first season, should be glad to just stay up etc.!!!! Hopefully playing you next season? I cannot wait to get started tomorrow, over 6k at cov in the first game!
That's a good turn out! Is that only because it's a Derby or do you think you will get similar following to all the away games if you are near the top week in/week out?
It is a derby and first game we usually get a fairly good turn out, but with all the new players on show, think this has helped! Theri is a massive air of excitement around the club which I haven't seen in a long while. I am sure that with a good start we will continue to get really good crowds in.
Thai, We generally and consistently have good away support every season, often selling out our allocation i.e. - Around 5/6k when we played Barnsley 4 years ago and we were only a few places off the bottom. Obviously we have been provided with more tickets because some class it as a 'Derby' match. We are lucky to have such a loyal away following irrelevant of our form; in a similar manner to Leeds if truth be told. It will however, be interesting to see how much our home gates rise
That is pretty interesting (away following), I was not aware The Foxes travelled well outside the PL. Our away support was superb throughout, as was our home support. Certainly helped the players I am sure. If your fans can keep the faith and be a little patient when the draws and losses come along I think you will return to the top flight soon (maybe this season, maybe next)
IMO - Norwich were best team and support to come to ours last season. Never stopped all way through, and what a game
Aim for mid-table Thai! cause the teams that have a goal of avoiding relegation are usually the teams to go down, aim high up that table so the lads will put in the effort until they are well clear of the relegation zone.
Norwich's support is good no doubt, seem a decent lot too. Plus you have a nice kit (not as good as ours though ) I quite like Norwich tbf (in comparison to most teams anyway) Really like Lambert as well, I think he's got a massive future in management. Hope you stay up
Good luck in the Prem - I just hope for your sake that Ipswich don't leap frog you into the prem next year - I think it's a real possibility though with the squad they've put together. Disagree with automatics being out of our reach though. We'll see.
