    In the absence of any football…….
    Anyone recommend any good films? My preferred genre is action thriller but I’m open to anything really.
    I’ve just discovered Jason Statham’s films and I’ve loved them - on a par with the Bourne films IMHO.
    Any recommendations??

    Don’t know much about action thrillers
    Try The Boat That Rocked
    Loosely based on the story of Radio Caroline with Bill Nighy
    I thought it was brilliant

    Fantastic choice. Apart from a fantastic film, there's about half an hour of deleted scenes that would have made it into any similar film.

    If children of men is an action thriller I recently watched that and its good. No Statham mind Clive Owen.
