Well done Norwich, I was at Southampton v Newcastle in the away end joining in the Pardew out chants.

Any of you go, and if so I bet that was some game! I was saying to a friend at half time " that lot won't be coming back from that there! " so I was somewhat won.

Important victory for us home to Millwall to take a bit of pressure off Mick. Teddy Bishop - remember the name, boys a real talent.

Nice for us to both win anyway :)

    Cheers Westy <ok>

We've been doing ok so far, but I think for a lot of us today felt like we really turned a corner and drew a line under the past. There'll be some rubbish ones very soon, no doubt, but I really think we're now properly "moved on".

I actually get the impression there's a similar feeling down the A140, in that I honestly thought this might be a relegation year for you guys, but holding onto McGoldrick and the performance from your guys shows you're too good to go down, despite limited resources.

No worries, very good turnaround that!

We won't be anywhere near the drop zone, McCarthy gets results and our squad is coming together quite well now.

The famous " Spanish " on here is doing his usual moaning after a victory of course - as you do.... !

More good news for East Anglian fans, we're near the bottom of the league for "Fans with banning orders"

Who knew Grimsby were so well supported they've managed to get 38 banned? That must be half their attendance!

There was mass disorder when they played Sunderland at St James Park last season, hundreds of Geordies running amok, I think one guy got arrested for punching a police horse!

I think there were something like 100 arrests made that day, it wouldn't surprise me if those led to a fair amount of banning orders!

    Their fans were nuts.

Guy 2 seats down from me almost got into a fight with the lad behind him.

This lad in the street was boning Ben Arfa saying " he's the answer Pardew's a clown " I said - " there's a reason he's at Newcastle in the first place not a club where he has the ability to play he's not mentally strong enough " - to which I received a barrage of abuse.

I then said " well players like Nani / Quaresma/ Dos Santos would be ideal for you " and the lad said all three were s***. They are hilariously deluded...!

It looked pretty mental, not the usual mobs of fans standing behind a line of police officers trying to act like something out of football factory, I remember there were people charging setting off smoke bombs and fireworks.

They are a club in disarray at the moment, something is going on behind the scenes up there, we've had two era's like that at Norwich under Roeder/Gunn and more recently with Hughton, you never know what's going on, then the fans get amazingly tetchy and quarrelsome about things.

Newcastle have got a decent squad something just isn't working somewhere.
