just thought we should have a thread where we can post possible good bets. i'll start... southampton to finish bottom are 28-1 on skybet. i think this could happen what with all their sales
Swansea to be relegated. 5/1 with Corals. They have lost many of their best players, including Vorm, Davies & Michu. Garry Monk does not look up to it as a Premier League manager, IMO.
Chelsea to win the league, Norwich or Wigan for promotion (same price, yet to decide myself), shelf utd to win league, and Shrewsbury for promotion. £10 returns nearly 2k. The downside is no cash out is offered as it's mixed between outright and promotion. My other seasonal acca unfortunately isn't great: Burnley (rock bottom), Blackpool relegated, Crewe Relegated, Morecambe relegated. All are favourites, though I got a better price for Burnley finishing 20th - 15/8 compared to 4/7 for bottom 3. Only 58/1, so doing £20 for £1161. Swapping Bunrley for either Soton or Swansea changes the odds to £1200. I agree with Nick about Swansea, so might chuck £10 on that also (as part of the same acca). By no means are these ''good bets'' - I'm yet to win a seasonal acca so can't say I'm confident! All odds are taken from BetFair.
The shrewdest gambler in the World Cup was the Norwegian who took long odds from William Hill that Suarez would bite someone.
Nottingham Forest to beat Blackpool in the league next Saturday. I will be lumping on the Tricky Trees .
Excellent football pull out inside, giving in depth punting information on all 92 league clubs. The pundits are not confident of our chances. If you download it on your ipad you can get a free 30 day trial. Worth getting today.
Noticed Stuart Beavon is 22/1 to be top scorer in League Two. Didn't work out for him after leaving Wycombe, but in a good side and hopefully with some new found confidence, thats a big price!
