I can't argue with any of it - although maybe some will... http://www.ambernectar.org/blog/2013/01/things-we-think-we-think-78-holiday-version/
I have to say that I have a massive amount of appreciation for Amber Nectar, especially the history and the linguistic beautification.
Very Cliquey (sp) and infiltrated with arse lickers., but has ,as stated ,some good articles written. I do think however that there have been and still are more attacking fullbacks than defending wingers. Roberto Carlos,Leighton Baines,Kyle Walker ,Patrice Evra,Rafael da Silva,Jose Bosingwa, Maicon,Zabeletta etc ,etc , I,m sure you will all come up with plenty more that have adapted from purely defensive roles , as the position of wingback has developed from the Brazilian model with the increase in fitness and formation changes in the modern game. With 2-3-5,4-4-2.3-5-2 whichever way you do it ,there's still only 11 on the park.Perhaps in the future we might get interchange players coming off the bench and the formations and tactics changing every 15 minutes. FiFa get some real nutters calling the shots!.
They certainly are the best reports on a game by a long way, as well as their observations about matters to do with the club IMO.
in spite of his dubious political leanings, unlike our local 'Professionals' he writes a good well researched article.
