''JL: El Hadji Ba is a promising midfielder. He is also 20 and was followed by a few English clubs. He is strong physically, a good athlete, but good on the ball too. Roberge is a more surprising signing. Not many people knows him in France as he never played there as a pro. He left young to go to Greece and Portugal. He is a tall centre half (6 ft 3), very good in the air and clever. He reads the game well too. Like Roberge, Diakité never played in France and made a name for himself in Italy with Lazio. He is a force of nature, a ruthless centre half, good in the air and in the challenges. He is made for English football.''

    Looks promising.
