    It's the first time I have heard his side of the story regarding being locked up etc.

    cracking article from a cracking player. i've been so impressed with bardsley this season, he's been great and really stepped up, but after all the stick bramble got when we signed him, the bottle it would have taken to move to us, the way he's bounced back from the allegations, he is my player of the season so far. he's been an absolute rock, probably the best defender i've seen in a sunderland shirt on a consistent basis in a long time.
