Our number 30 of last season Bluey. Haven't seen him mentioned lately and he doesn't appear in the official club player list any more.
Got it: Cardiff City have added Maximiliano Amondarain to their squad. The Uruguay Under-20 international trained with the Premier League new-boys earlier this summer, when he impressed Malky Mackay. And the Bluebirds boss has now handed the defender a four-year contract, as he looks to add more strength to his options. Amondarain, who has previously played for Nacional and Progreso, was part of his national side that reached the final of the FIFA Under-20 World Cup final in Turkey this July. He becomes Cardiff’s sixth signing since they earned promotion to the top-flight last season. Mackay’s side started the campaign with a defeat at West Ham United, but bounced back in sensational style when they beat Manchester City 3-2 last weekend. They will be looking for a repeat of this performance on Saturday, when Roberto Martinez’s Everton visit
After graduating from Nacional's youth system, Amondarain was loaned to Progreso in 2012 summer. Progreso also kept an agreement with Nacional by receiving a part of the sale if the player was sold.[1] Amondarain made his professional debut on 7 October 2012, in a 0–2 away defeat against Fénix.[2] He finished the season with 18 appearances, and returned to Nacional. On 30 August 2013, Cardiff City confirmed the signing of the free agent Amondarain after an impressive trial period earlier in the summer.[3] He signed a four-year deal with the club after a one month trial basis.
OK guys, you got it, so where is he then? I know he played for the development squad last season, but he seems to have disappeared. Have I missed something?
