Did anyone actually make a serious bid? And if so would he have had to take a pay cut? Did the failure to bring in another striker give him confidence he's be number 1?
    Who knows?
Hopefully he will either score or assist in scoring goals.

This is better from gomis and puts the record straight that he now wants to stay with the swans and commit himself to the cause, I hope now we will see the real gomis who is so highly thought of elsewhere and start to produce the goals that we know he can do. We should now start afresh with all this of wanting to leave in the past and give him support that all players need to produce their best. Also credit to the club for refusing anyone pinching Taylor off us this season. onwards and upwards we go....

Well SSN are reporting that West Ham showed deadline day interest in him, but Gomis decided he wants to stay at Swansea....

Maybe the fact it was West Ham showing interest that put him off leaving. Ugly football. Probably the ugliest in th PL.

I just don't think he can play the sole striker role, back to goal, holding the ball up to bring others in the game. I think he's better facing the goal and needs someone to slot him in. Did his defensive duties well on the weekend which was nice to see

You really haven't watched us this season have you?
As the bloke next to me said after their win, " I never expected to see the day when West Ham and Stoke out pass us."

I still haven't seen that day but obviously, the bloke next to you has a more valid opinion than me.

West Ham still, at every opportunity, every free kick - no matter where they have it - deep in their own half, just load the oppositions box and 'hammer' it long into there. Ugly, Ugly football.
