evening people, first post on here, previously a 606 reader but just discovered this one so am new to this....

i'm travelling to Munich next week, although haven't got a ticket for the game, or the public viewing unfortunatley...can someone reassure me that I'm not wasting my time and there will be plenty of action going on with or without a ticket...im getting a bit worried!

anyone been to munich before, and can suggest places of where to go during the day would be much appreciated.

    cheers

Welcome F10 to not606! I've spent many a time in Munich over the years ,but I'm sad to say I will not be at our big match! My good lady had a serious op at Papworth last year and it meant my attendance at SB since has been the worst since 1959! If you are going, I'd be inclined to stick with other Blues for pre /post match celebrations/commiserations and enjoy it ! I went to Athens in 1971 for the EUCWC and that is a memory that has always lived with me since! Munich could be the same for you!
