Just to cheer everyone up, today I have my company's 'top of the terrace' season tickets and my colleague and I are taking customers to the match. Now why would that cheer you lot up ? Over the years, every time I've been in with the 'prawn sandwich brigade' (and it's been many times), we've ALWAYS won !! ........Oh dear, what have I said !
I've only ever seen one match from a 'box' as a guest of Archant years ago. We won a canary window dressing competition the season we finished third David James got sent off for Liverpoo for kicking out off the ball at John Polston and David Phillips blasted a penalty down the middle to win it for us 1 - 0. Complimentary (large) G + T' s at half time, even better!
Well I sincerely hope that your run continues KIO. I have never sat in a box at Carrow Road but did see us win from a box at the old Filbert Street. That was a 0-2 win where we scored very early on and never looked in doubt. It is a strange atmosphere behind glass and not one that I would rush to repeat. The atmosphere was not helped when I jumped out of my seat at the aforementioned goal and realised I was the only Canary there. Tumbleweed!
