He's hasn't started the current campaign well, and looks determined to take on the 'bombscare' mantle that Whittaker vacated when he deserted the sinking ship. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11781/8007217/Goian-not-thinking-of-move It looks like were stuck with him, so let's hope he gets his arse in gear and cuts out the silly mistakes.
I'm surprised that Bocanegra is hanging around, he's the USA captain and should have his pick of clubs over the pond, but he wants to pit his wits against the cream of Div 3?
If Levein won't pick Wallace because he's playing in SFL3, I can't imagine the USA will be rushing to pick Bocanegra. I'll be very surprised if he's still here when the window closes.
Haven't Bocanegra & Goin been dropped already by their national teams. I thought these guys were decent footballers but they have been far from impressive this season so far. I hear Edu is heading out the door, I think they should give him another game so he can hear a full Ibrox sigh in disbelief as he struggles to pass, tackle or beat a man.... and so we can sing the Edu song one last time.
It was bound to happen. Just a few short hours after announcing that he's going nowhere, Goian is off to Italy on a season's long loan. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19338654
Don't think many people will be that bothered about the fella leaving. No idea why he went on loan though.
Makes sence for the gers to loan these players and not sell. You cant buy any players for the next two transfer windows. So may be needed next season. Gets them off the wage bill for a year. Bocanegra the same situation
