Have a good holiday. Nice and sunny in Salop. Lovely couple of hours at Venus Pool this morning birdwatching followed by gardening in the sun. Shame about the match. We need a clear out in summer and about 15 new players in. Interesting comments about Taylor by one of the commentators on radio saying that he his too one dimensional and needs to improve. Don't know whether I'd keep Jacko or not, seems to know stuff but we're playing poorly. Is that the squad or management?

Taylor is far from the finished product, he essentially works hard and chips in occasionally with important goals. He needs to remember how to use his pace to beat people and how to put a cross in, because he offers us little else going forward at present.
KDS - I could not agree more. We need to rebuild under new management and soon so we can take advantage of the summer to get some decent players in. I have nothing against Jackson and I have some sympathy for the predicament he was left in but it appears to me he has very little idea about attacking play and it is lack of goals that has sent us down.
The lack of goals have been all season, in fact last season aswell. When I did a match preview for Notts County I looked at their squad and they had eight or ten strikers on their books, and around twelve midfielders. I know quality/quantity but it put us to shame.
