Nothing exciting happening sports wise at the moment and its getting very boring in the typ household. I am having to talk to the wife now. I found out her middle name today. The ashes are a month away, Wimbledon two weeks, the rugby is on in the middle of the night and I can't bring myself to support a team that has so many welsh players in it. Football kicks off again in what? 10 weeks? Last year we had the Olympics, the year before that we had the chav riots, we need something to liven up this summer- any suggestions?
Oh Typical, that is priceless. I know what you mean though. God, I hate close season. I know everyone needs a rest and a holiday, but do they realise what it does to us? I'm having to tidy up the garden and clean the house, for goodness sake - it's inhumane. I'm trying to compensate by seeing loads of live music, but nothing beats the sight of that ball hitting the back of the net. Roll on Welling.
Have you read my e-book yet? 77p? http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00B9L8AG0?ie=UTF8&force-full-site=1&ref_=aw_bottom_links You can read it cover to cover in 20 minutes.
I've painted my bedroom the last two nights/evenings running. spare room is next. garden was done on the weekend. i'm starving all the time too. haven't had a pre match burger since the last match. inconsiderate b@stards. lol (no really, the rest of us only get 4-5 weeks off per annum)
Ah Yes Glasto. As I thoroughly disapprove of anyone else, drinking, drug taking and having standing casual sex in a toilet with an jelly bean assortment of richard the thirds squelching between my toes I have given this year a miss. Shame tho I have fond memories of most of my weekend upside down in the dance tents.
I could live with summer if Kent would play a bit of cricket and win a couple of games, but they appear comatose at the moment. The musicfest season is just kicking into gear (we had Kraftwerk here in Barcelona last night), but I need a football fix, and while the Spanish are getting excited about the Confederations cup, I want a couple of decent strikers at the Valley, and as a wise man once said, the sight of the ball hitting the back of the net (provided the net is't ours).

I just got 45. Quite Happy - remembered Bart-Williams with 10 secs to go! Anyone seen this? http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00B9L8AG0?ie=UTF8&force-full-site=1&ref_=aw_bottom_links
