Up until very recently there were a number of regular posters that still believed Bruce would have got it right given the chance!

Today was testimony to how much trouble SAFC are in brought about by one mans serious failings and weaknesses.

Anyone that still harboured a doubt must now be convinced how poor a manager this man was.

I would even argue now that his record of signing good players is seriously questionable taking into consideration the shower of ****e his left with us not to mention the South American contingent.

Good luck Martin you are going to need it along with everything else in your armoury and good riddance Steve Bruce!

Hopefully Bruce finds another job sooner rather than latter, then he can buy back some of the ****e.

Very well said. Not just regular posters, but supposed "experts" on the box, too.

If O'Neill manages to keep us in the Premier this season, he will have done well.

I dont buy into theory that oneill coming in will instantly make us a decent team we have a losing mentality at theoment. Today was the same as the wigan game we lost the game all by ourselves. I mean how many teams are a goal up and win a penalty then within 30 seconds are on level terms. We have deep lying problems. Next sunday os our biggest game for 5 years lose and we r probably gonna go down. 1 point frim pur last 3 games is pitiful and only made worse by the fact that those games were all against the teams we r scrapping with.

We need devine intervetion and we need it now. Also all those up for having Bendtner hanged drawn and quartered say aye.

Yes. It's football. No matter how badly managers perform there's always someone willing to give them another shot.

I don't think its as bad as some are making out.

Black lost us the game by going 4-5-1. Wolves were no longer scared to throw everyone forward as we no longer posed a threat on the counter.

The penalty didn't help us, and it was a handball when they scored.

1 or 2 players will be shown the door no doubt but I still think the squad is good enough for Mon to turn it around. Mon wouldn't have taken the job if he didn't think so - I'm sure he was contacted by short a couple weeks ago and he would have done his homework.

Conspiracy theory here, but if Bruce does get another job, and he doesn't come in for any of our players at all, does that mean he was purposely trying to **** us over?

At least Roy Keane came in for some of his buys, and bought them.

PS: Not really what I believe/think, but you never know.

Agree with a lot of this. Much of our problem at the moment is psychological - we started losing ... losing gets the crowd on the team's back ... the team's head goes further down ... we lose more games ... etc. It's a self-perpetuating cycle, and it's been going on for the best part of a year now. We've become habitual losers. Still, I think MON probably knows enough to swing that around, and it's a bit early to be talking about relegation. This time last year, Liverpool weren't far away from where we are now.

But I'm very grateful to Ellis for not giving Bruce any longer. I think he probably would have taken us down. Gyan described him best - "a bit disorganized". Yeah, a bloody big bit.

No, I'm not impressed with him either. But I'll wait and see how he performs with MON. After all, the previous regime already lost us two international strikers. Mind you, Bent stuck it for a season and a half, and Gyan for a full season. Bendtner's folded in four months, even with Larsson and Sess supporting him (which Bent and Gyan would have killed for last year). That begs some other questions about him. Give him till the end of January. If we don't see changes under MON, I think he's Emirates bound.

Wycombe fan in peace. Just looking at some of your thoughts about MON.

He is without doubt one of the best man managers around and will motivate the team. I think a comfortable mid table at the end of the season.

I was watching the game yesterday and Bentnar was shocking. I can see a falling out happening soon between him and MON. I don't think I have seen a player look so uninterested in the premier league! The question is what other forwards have you got to come in ?
