Elmo's goal particularly impressive. Two of them to hoof it clear, and instead they pass it sideways to a man with 10-15 yards of space all around him.
We always blamed Grayson for not sorting out our defence, not forgetting Bates bleeding us dry of funds, then with a new defence under Warnock we defend like that. To add insult to injury 90% of Leeds fans were glad to see the back of Bruce myself included and when he joined us Ipswich fans were all over our forum laughing at us and how bad he was yet he hasn't put a foot wrong for Hull by all accounts. He must have walked off the pitch last night with some smile. Sometimes for no reasonable explanation a team and it's manager just click into place like a well oiled machine, I had Hull down as top 4, keep the key players fit and I can see it being automatic. Blackburn leak goals and speaking to a Leicester season ticket holder the other day he told me how poor Blackpool were without Matt Phillips (he was left out against them due to rumours of a move). Come January Blackpools season will depend on if they can hold on to Phillips and Ince.
10 goals in 3 games, 3 goals in 3 games from a centre half FFS? I can't take the excitement, I need to sit in a darkened room.
I love Elmo, if we get promoted and he scores more than 5 goals I'll get his face tattooed on my chest like that Partridge super fan.
Its great, well done to Steve Bruce people were saying he was picking a defensive 3-5-2 formation but you cant argue with the quality of play, goals and results.
It's hard to believe we're doing it so far without Hobbs, McKenna and Fryatt from last season's team being available due to injury/suspension.
Take of promotion, automatic or otherwise is a little premature IMO. We are doing exceptionally well, but there's still the rest of the season to go yet. The reason I say this is because after one loss, most on here will be back to doom and gloom!!
Has anyone got a link to the highlights of last nights game? I know I saw a link somewhere but now I can't find it. Thanks.
Thanks buddy but it doesn't seem to work on my phone. The story comes up but the video doesn't appear
Have only seen the very brief highlights of the goals. How come the big man was lurking with intent, the only Hull player in the box, when the cross came in?
I want to see the full build up to the 3rd as from memory it was fookin' smashing. Has anyone seen a link to more comprehensive highlights?
