Andy Carroll - 11 goals and 6 assists

Kevin Nolan - 12 goals and 2 assists

Joey Barton - 4 goals and 9 assists

We scored a total of 56 goals. The rest of the team scored 29 goals. So I ask you this...who is going to score our goals?

Other than Saylor of course ;)

    Ba, Cabaye, Marv, Ben Arfa?

But yeah, pretty sure Saylor will keep up his goal scoring form and end up top scorer next season. but that much is obvious.

Three of those players are injury prone and two are unproven. I hope I'm wrong, but it is a huge ask to replace such a massive goal scoring hole that has been left due to our owners ineptitude!

Pretty sure a few of Joey's assists were for Carroll aswell. Hopefully we buy 2 amazing players?

    Diego and Barrios...Oh how i wish :(

Problem with Shola is that we can only play the scum twice a season (in the league) ;)

Worth a cheeky quid i reckon! He has been averaging one a game, so that's 38 goals!

I heard from reliable 'sources' that the real reason we sold Nolan and big Andy was that other teams in the league thought it was unfair that we had them alongside the predatory instincts of Shola and the unstoppable force that is saylor. With those two you are guaranteed 30 goals apiece

Probably more like 20-25 with his injury record. Still good enough for top scorer mind.

Put him as striker and provide balls like that and he could well be our secret weapon.

Note: DON'T LET HIM WITHIN 5 METERS OF OUR BOX.

  17. Ameobi only got 6 goals in the PL, the 3 others were in the cup games.

Do we not intend to score in the cups as well?

    #18
  19. Yes, but what's important right now is looking at who's going to score for us in the PL, the cup isn't as high of a priority as our premier league campaign.

Ameobi scored 6 in the PL last season, and 3 in the cup. Saying he scored 9 makes him sound better than he really is.
