What would you do?

  1. Pick David De Gea

  2. Pick Anders Lindegaard

  3. Get a new keeper

As a neutral (of sorts) i was wondering what you make of your current goalkeeping issues? Who would you pick, do you go for the error prone De Gea who supposedly has a bright future ahead of him, or do you go with the more stable, yet limited Lindegaard? Or should Fergie dip into the transfer market, and look for a new option?

Lindegaard for me. Consistency is very important for a goalkeaper and he's done well when given the chance. (mix up with jones at Newcastle aside).

De Gea is technically a better goalkeaper, but i just wouldn't be confident as the defender playing in front of him.

I don't blame Lindegaard for the newcastle error, that was on Jones. I just think Lindegaard is too limited as a keeper. He's solid, but he's never going to be world class. The Kolarov free kick was saveable, yet his limitations allowed it in. De Gea is a work in progress, but athletically he's far superior.

I would sign a new keeper. Maybe an experienced veteran, to help De Gea along with his development.
