With Fulop seemingly off to Turkey, hopefully for a fee not too much lower than what we paid for him, it leaves us with a big hole to fill in one of the most key positions on the field in my opinion.

Fulop won't be missed, I think he has one outstanding game every few months but aside from that one day he is a distinctly average keeper. Murphy I am disappointed to see leave but can understand his position, especially if his deal was on lower terms than he was getting already.

Westwood would have been a fantastic signing, but he has now been confirmed as joining sunderland and lets be honest, once prem clubs came in we were never in the running for that one.

Loach is an interesting one, I would jump at the chance to sign him and he sounds like he would be open to a move, but I can't see PJ going for him unfortunately.

Kirkland has undoubted quality, but I wouldn't want to rely on him as a number one with his injury record and us only having AL-B as backup, as solid as he is as a reserve, I fear that he is not the one to take us to the next level and if CK came in and picked up ANOTHER injury, we would be back to square one.

So thats my two-penneth worth, what's everyone's thoughts?

Can't/Shouldn't allow Fulop to go unless there is a replacement lined up. I'd be happy if it was kirkland and ALB as our keepers, Kirkland a talented keeper and if he gets injured then ALB is solid back up.

Though Ideally id like to see Fulop stay

    Ummm...

I don't see Loach coming here, Watford do not need the money as they just sold Danny Graham

Kirkland maybe but i'd imagen he would want to stay in the Prem

Matteo Sereni or Andy Marshall anyone? :cheesy:
