S O'D has said he is looking for two Keepers one for the first team and one in the u-21 squad as backup does that mean that Dylan is not rated by the staff at Ashton Gate as I thought he was our development squad keeper.

It doesn't sound like it. I'd love to see what he can do, and I really hope that he gets a shot in the first team since he's the only goalkeeper here.

I personally want Gary woods. Everything sounds good, Young, Was the goalkeeper of 1st place in our league, Ex man united. Ticks all the boxes. Also signed by SOD at Donny so he must like him.

I want to see someone who can command his box - in theory our "No1" should not be part of the no U24's policy, because keepers tend to be older

One Keeper has to be under 21 according to S O'D or he won't get any game time we no longer have a reserve team as such playing in a league we have the development squad and they have to be U-21

The under 24's policy is just that and not unbreakable - we need a few experienced heads with leadership ability in key positions to help guide our new young recruits so don't be surprised if we sign a few more mature heads...

Experience should rule the roost for a goalkeeper because he is the mop at the back to cover for any inexperience in front of him. A younger back up is fine as long as he gets some first team time to cover for injuries suspensions and all that.

Rumours are about that Basso and Lee Camp are going to play for contracts in the pre season only one of them would get a contract if true and I doubt if it would be Basso. Our first choice keeper is not covered by the U 24 decision S O'D said only the second keeper has to be available for the U-21 squad in order for him to be playing regular games so would be match fit if needed for the first team.
