    The Football League have launched a search to find the Mitre Goal of the Year for 2014 and the Club are inviting fans to vote from a selection of 10 they've picked.

    [I suspect the McCormack one against Huddersfield will be a strong candidate. However, wouldn't want to influence your choice by saying which one I actually went for.]

    LVC tops the Poll.

    Lasse Vigen Christensen – scorer of Fulham’s two best Football League goals of 2014 – was thrilled with the accolade bestowed upon him by the Club’s supporters.
    Fans have been voting for their favourite strike from the first half of the 2014/15 campaign to be submitted as Fulham’s nomination at the Football League Awards.

    And the all-action midfielder was the comprehensive winner, securing 27.1 per cent of the votes for his cute nutmeg and finish against Huddersfield Town, and 37.5 per cent for the winning strike, when he finished off a breathtaking counter-attack versus Sheffield Wednesday.”
