That is a really important video and the FA and coaches and managers need to be watching it. Goes to show what a waste of time all this pointless passing backwards and sideways we will see tonight from Manchester and Madrid is.

My coach used to say to us ‘let the ball do all the hard work’
    Long ball it was then!
Actually, long ball can be very effective - especially when you are lacking in skill. Just ask any of Neil Warnock’s players and fans.

Their not welsh theyve got City in their name and their blue is like the sky so by my reckoning we are allowed to like and talk about Man City. If Haaland was still in his normal superman mode it would have 4-0 at half time v Real Madrid.. Guardiola has a wand and gone you Jack Grealish will find extra gears and run and defend and you John Stones abracadabra you are now Sergio Busquets. That first half last night was so good i was laughing at the tv.

Dead right mate, superb first half, resolute second, fabulous result, terrific manager, not a Manc but I've got to admit the Premiers best team and hopefully heading for a European accolade, they deserve it.

I heard the other day, that a lot of Pep’s signings don’t play much in their first season. He likes to train them first into his way of how teams play. Grealish being one to bare fruit. Not overly used last season to be a far better player this year.
Haaland obviously broke that mode, but looking at him it’s impossible to leave out (unless it’s us).

They kept Haaland in v Chelsea and left this out for the subs bench.

    Bernardo Silva
    Ederson
    Dias
    De Bruyne
    Gundogan
    Grealish
    Haaland
    Rodrigo
    Stones

    No depth there whatsoever.
