Shouldn't think there's much doubt which one tops the bill this month. Still, quite good to see the medley compiled by the Club and that they've included the best of the Academy goals. I voted for Piazon against Huddersfield due to Alukos build up play funnily enough the thing that caught my eye was not the fact he ran half the length of the pitch, not the fact he put it on Piazons head, not the fact he took on three players, not the fact he did an amazing back heel taking two players out of play but it was his first touch to bring the ball down first time which then led to all the above... To be honest I can't believe he didn't win it!!!
Cookie is quite correct, best goal was Piazon, for the reasons he describes. Good to see the academy getting a look in but wrong month for that I believe.
I also would have gone with the Piazon goal, although the winner was a good hit. I have to say I appreciate the club mixing in the Academy goals into things like this. Anything to help the fans engage with the Academy (C58's updates certainly help for me) will help the fans engage with the club as a whole. I think that's the best way to build a strong long-term support, rather than gimmicky cheap tickets and big name signings.
