What is your Swansea City ‘Goal of the Decade’?

For me it has to be Pratley’s goal to beat Forest and secure the Play-Off Final place at Wembley.

But there’s loads of other ‘great’ goals - Michu’s second v QPR, Luke Moore v Citeh, Shelvey v Villa, Siggy v Arsenal etc

So many to pick but one imo that should be up there is Trundles second against Yeovil in our first season at the Liberty , a neat control on his chest and a perfect volley over the keeper .He could have scored a hatrick that night , scoring from the penalty spot and hitting the bar ? probably not the best but worthy of a mention

 

That’s more than a decade ago

 

I wasn’t there for Michu’s goal at the Emirates but I was in the front row for De Guzman’s

 

Oh no you weren’t

we were in the gods, 35,000 feet up in the air with oxygen masks on

 

It was actually the second row - the actual front row was taped off!

We were behind De Guzman - saw the ball from start to finish

 

At my age I'm trying to slow the aging process so every little helps ,if you don't mind

 

Ok then - I will nominate Lennie Allchurch and the first goal in a 5-0 thrashing of Shrewsbury (September 1970 - almost 50 bloody years ago ..... )

It was a great goal, cut in from the right wing (North Bank side) and hit it into the top corner. I think it was our first win of the season....
