    At long long last!

Hopefully we wont see a repeat of the Hill 'goal' this season before it comes in.

A major step forward for football today.

Im sure they will still manage to cock it up somehow by only allowing it for major tournaments and not qualifiers or the PL.

It took them over a decade to get this far with it. Maybe the competing companies werent bribing enough?

FIFA have said any organisation wishing to use it can do so.

They will do something like pick hawkeye and then find out it doesnt work in the rain.

If its possible to cock up, they will cock up.

All this garbage about goal line technology is infuriating. We have a 4th official all we want is for him to officiate. Give him a monitor so he can see what is going on, decisions will be quicker than all the players surrounding the Referee and arguing their point. Why does everyone have to pay thousands of pounds putting cameras in the goals, and what happens if the ball actually breaks one of them do you stop the game until fixed?.

Best argument I ever heard about this was when Platini and Twit features were saying we can't have it because every team would had to have it irrespective of league. So someone pointed out that in that case we must take down every floodlight then because not all teams have them.....Brilliant.

They insist any judgement has to be equal, no cricket or tennis style excitement looking at hawkeye.

They had 4th officials correct refs before but removed all access to TVs for officials which is typical of FIFA.

I love the excitement of looking at a replay trying to see if its a goal.

Didn't know they had a reputation to put on the line. Just a bunch of outdated oafs.
