Having watched the Dortmund v Malaga game (x2 mistakes) & the NUFC v SAFC (x2 mistakes) don´t you think we need some techno for `off side goals` ? We´re getting GOAL LINE TECHNO next season so why not for these bad bad mistakes that are made when it comes to this very silly off side rule that´s now in place, one that I don´t understand any more btw. They say GLT is important to stop teams losing pts that they should´nt so they don´t feel hard done by but how many goals are gained or lost by the ´off side rule´
Bring in a system for offside and we'll find something else, maybe a robot referee with microscopic eyes? We don't live in a perfect world.
Yes to goal line technology - it's instant and a matter of fact No to video replays for offsides, fouls etc - stops flow of the game
Statistically, I'm always amazed how often they get it right. It's often unbelievably hard to spot when someone's offside, and I don't think linesmen get enough credit. No team really gets the decisions more than others so it's basically an even playing field- Man U always seem to get more favourable decisions because, statistically, they attack more than anyone else.
