Conducting a poll to see what people think , may even start a petition for video appeal technology - inspired by today's appalling refereeing between Manchester united and QPR. Video on this page and poll of goal line technology. http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/135979-Video-and-Goal-line-appeal-technology-POLL
Until Blatter's mates at Adidas get this perfected it will not happen. It will probably be how he finances his retirement.
It's a no- brainer. But then FIFA doesn't have any brains, except those that have been bought & paid for, of course.
To be fair the decision on whether he's offside is a no brainer, the officials shouldn't even need replays and the dive was pretty obvious too. I'd rather the technology was only brought in to see if the ball went past the line as using it for other stuff will get us into murky waters. At the end of the day the ref simply wanted to give that decision and that's something that needs remedying. We need a better standard of officials though because some don't appear to know there arse from their elbow.
UEFA have already made a bold, correct and innovative move of bringing in goal-line assistants. This is something I wanted to see introduced this season in the Prem. Very disappointed it wasn't, might have made a big positive difference for us. That and goal line technology gets my support in the short-term, get those in first then trial wider video reffing.
