    Our third goal.

Chester crossing for Faye to score.

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't they our defenders?

What are they playing at? Total football Steve Bruce style?

    I like it!

    <ok><ok>

Chester totally sold their defender the dummy and went straight past him.....great cross for Faye to get his big head on it, he could get to double figures the way he's scoring already! Love it

I bet Chester is loving using his skills all over the pitch.

Faye could become a cult hero if he keeps this up.

It's good because last Season, the defenders would very, very rarely score and now Faye's in striker form... Should have had 3 if his header against Bolton decided to go in instead of hit both posts.

chester's celebration for the goal as the power header hit the back of the net, whilst face down on the ground was indicative of a sense of togetherness, and a pleasure to see in itself

Burnsy and Swanny mentioned how after every goal the whole team went over and celebrated. They said it was a togetherness good to see.

after his excellent work for faye's goal, chester was star spread face down on the ground seemingly kicking his legs and arms like a helpless tellytubby. great celebration. haha

Agree there seemed something really special in the way they celebrated. Wonder if there was a lot of doubt about 3-5-2, now they realise it works.

Anyone else notice when Aluko scored Faye came over and stuck his knee out for Aluko to put his foot on it, he then gave him a shoe shine with his shirt!!

I'm liking how we're a threat from corners and crosses now.

Big Abi Faye will nod a few more in this season.

Loved his celebration infront of the east stand as well.

It was weird. He didn't seem to care at first, then suddenly he realised "****, I just scored!" and went ****ing mental. It was like something Balotelli would do.

Shows just how much confidence they both had in leaving Alex Bruce to man the shop on his own. Every man attack - well almost ?

I thought Ben Amos was a disgrace. Hardly got involved in the game and looked very lazy and sluggish to me. What was he playing at ? <whistle>

Did anyone notice Steve Bruce copying faye's celebration? His hands start at his chest then he opens up his arms, bit like immitating wings or flying! Something along those lines anyway

With the wing backs we have, the formation lets us be both attacking and defensive when needs be. I expect us to play 3-5-2 tomorrow but with Elmo & Dudgeon being a bit more conservative

Interesting point. Why do teams play differently away. Is it custom and culture or is there a legitimate reason?

If we played like we did on Saturday. I'm sure no amount of "home advantage" would stop us from scoring.
