Didn't Allen achieve 100% pass completion in at least one game last season? There are few British players so capable of retaining possession. He's a modern midfielder in the mould of Wiltshire. Probably a 10million player at the moment but to Liverpool it will obviously be more. I think the jacks will regret it if he goes, yes they'll have the money, but a like for like replacement may not be so easy.
