One sure way to boost your club's income: let your manager go to a higher club with cash so that he comes back to pay inflated prices for players he overvalues. Who ever thought Jason Scotland was a Premiership player worth £3 million? Only one person: nice little price for a player who never made any impact at Wigan. Next, some wally wants to pay £15 million for a very ordinary non-goal scoring lightweight midfielder. If Malky goes to a Premier League club do you think we could get £15 million for Whitts and £10 million for Joe Mason? (this could completely wipe out our debt to Sam and really mark a new beginning).
Bit tough on Joe Allen Iggy. While he doesn't score many, although I seem to recall a cracker against us at Ninian, he could be instrumental at Liverpool if Brenda wants to change their playing style to "Swansalona". No argument about Scotland though.
Didn't Allen achieve 100% pass completion in at least one game last season? There are few British players so capable of retaining possession. He's a modern midfielder in the mould of Wiltshire. Probably a 10million player at the moment but to Liverpool it will obviously be more. I think the jacks will regret it if he goes, yes they'll have the money, but a like for like replacement may not be so easy. Liverpool will have then broken some sort of record for centre mids at 1 club at any one time. God only knows what they plan to do with them all.
Loan 'em to us for peanuts would be a good idea. However, news on Jordon Mutch - looks a really good player: fast and skillful on the ball.
