Nicklas Bendtner was angry to discover Harry Redknapp had labelled him an Arsenal reject, but has decided against becoming involved in a war of words with the Spurs manager.
The Danish striker is currently on loan at Sunderland from Arsenal and has enjoyed resurgence in form since Martin O'Neill took charge at the Stadium of Light.
In the build-up to Saturday's 0-0 draw between the Black Cats and Tottenham, it was suggested to Redknapp that Bendtner would pose a real threat to his team - but the veteran boss made it clear he didn't rate the 24-year-old. Can't see us buying him to be honest think MON will want to look somewhere else. Sounds like he has found a bit of humility by not rising to Arrys bait or he just knows that Arry does this a lot to unnerve players/teams etc.
