Sad to hear of the death of Go Ballistic today from Colic. This horse won't top any 'all time great' lists but there'll be very few horses who get placed in Cheltenham festivals 9 years apart (he finished 3rd in the 1994 bumper behind Muckelmeg and then 3rd in the Billy Hills chase in 2003 behind YoullNeverWalkAlone), in between he won some decent races and ran some other great races in defeat, especially at the festival. He spent most of his career at John O'Shea's but in his later years had spells at David Nicholson, Hen Knight, Alan King and Richard Philips. Grand old servant for the game RIP
