In these desperate times and watching the beating we took at Cardiff I just wish we would go back to our old red and white strip. I just can't get away with this new strip and it just seems to sum everything up as a club. We have lost our soul. I think it would be a great psychological boost if we reverted back to the old strip for the fight for the run in till the end of the season. Didn't Stokoe do something when he came on board? Change from white shorts to black shorts or something like that.....desperate times need desperate measures and everything is worth a try....any thoughts?

Yeah, Stokoe moved us from white shorts to black shorts.

It was a bit different then though - we will be under a contractual obligation to wear the current strips.

I agree though - the strips are utter gash.

Whoever designed this year's home kit should be shot with ****. It's the worst top in our history. The away strip is meh, but I actually quite like the 3rd kit.

Next season a bang average standard red and white strip will now feel amazing to see.

Thick red and white stripes, black shorts, and red socks with white fold downs.

It's weird. I thought I was being silly having this thought process...but I hate this kit. Its simply not SAFC. I guess if they played in a pink ballet tutu but were winning every week we wouldn't give a toss....but as we are crap....CHANGE THE KIT

Just seen an advert on twitter. The home kit is 75% reduced for season ticket holders

I guess sales weren't quite as good as anticipated

All three of the current strips are 75% off to season card holders. You've got to have an offer code to get it on line but just show your season card in the club shops. I got an e-mail from the club, with the offer code.

If possible definitely needed imo its a second rate pub team strip which sums up our quality - we need to play with pride wearing a strip worthy of our great club

IMO its worth only as a collectors piece and that would be in the dim and distant future.

I love grandfather shirts in general, when I was a youngan i only had a blue wrangler shirt that was so worn our lass stitched a checky wrangler shirt tail on it and my other shirt was a stripey grand dad shirt that was paper thin.
