First Walcott, then Chamberlain, now Luke Shaw. I think they need to develop their own players..........or buy some proper players and just win something already ! http://link.live.net/?l=http://www....p4E9OxvQBh4X1E6+wIKhg=&p=1&u=23EA504D9E9231C9 - Link to Luke Shaw article
Well, Ward-Prowse and Shaw will be key players when we get to the Prem, im sure of that We don't need to sell, We're not going to sell. End of. Bye Bye Arsenal.
They aren't chasing Ward-Prowse but i have a link for Luke Shaw.... http://link.live.net/?l=http://www....p4E9OxvQBh4X1E6+wIKhg=&p=1&u=23EA504D9E9231C9
Thanks for the link. Doubt anything will come of it to be honest. Can't see why our youngsters would want to go anywhere when they know NC's vision for us to bring youth through the system and produce form within like Barca. If that is the route which we as a club are going to go down, and with the facilities we have, surely we must be the best place for them to develop and get a shot at first team football. I for one am looking forward to seeing what comes from the academy over the next few years, and as we are financially secure now we do not have to sell our promising kids anymore. the future is bright for us!
I don't think Arsene can get away with buying more and more promising youth over players who are currently ready. The arsenal fans are sick of it, and hopefully this will convince that **** arsene to p*ss off and get senior players for once
I know....I skirted round the issue and tried to make an eloquent point only to be bested by five simple words by Saint_Lambden which drilled home the point we were all thinking
It seems these days Wenger cannot develop his own talent and spends him time hanging around other teams training grounds hoping to find the answer to his woes; the skin-flint is too tight-fisted to pay out on a couple of big-name signings. Any idiot (like me!) can tell him where he needs to strengthen his team and probably name him a few players for those roles too! He so wants be be like Barcelona - an ambition he is never going to achieve. I actually think Wenger has run his course with Arsenal and they should be looking to rejuvinate their prospects by bringing in some fresh blood in their management team - never mind in their playing squad... The positives to be taken from all this is that the fact that our development programme is still working. So take heart from that important fact.
I don't know why he's so blind to the fact that Almunia is a terrible goakeeper. I'd be disappointed if we bought him.
Fortunately for us NC will dig his heels in if he even suspects he's being treated with disrespect. He's quite happy to cut off his nose to spite his face, which suits us fine. If the request for one of our players isn't written on vellum and delivered by liveried flunkies, he won't even read it. God, I love the man.
Nice to know we've got more promising youngsters coming through on the production line. I trust NC to handle all approaches appropriately.
Here we go again, the standard summer occupation of people believing any old rubbish made up on utterly naff websites and newspapers. Sigh.
FFS! The seasons been over for less than a week and already SAINTS FANS are speculating that our players will leave Grow some balls and stop these quite pathetic rumours!
Without speculation on players joining, players leaving, new contracts etc just what are people meant to talk about once the seasons ended, and I confidently predict it will get worse... are we about to be sold, is NC off to Italy, has the money run out... oh yes I expect all of those over the next couple of months. Still thats all better than will we have a club or wont we. so bring the speculation on I say!!
GEEEZZZZZ im sorry, im just posting what i read and as most people who have commented agree that it is probably true because Arsenal probably have a scout permanantly fixed to the saints acadamy -_-
