    Rovers played Gloucester in round 1 of the Gloucestershire FA Senior Challenge Cup tonight at the Memorial Stadium and we won 2-1.

    Marcus Stewart was in charge of the game and he named the squad.

    Our team:
    Puddy, Lyttle, Fry, Greenslade, McChrystal, Malpas, Ward-Baptiste, Thomas, Harrison, Jamie White, Broom

    Subs:
    Harry White, Corp, Ellington, Kilgour, Preston

    Harry White is a trialist, a striker with Evo Stick Southern outfit Banbury United
    Lewis Ellington is a 15 year old local lad in school

    More info on trialist Harry White:

    19 year-old striker who originally joined Banbury from then Midland Alliance side Coventry Sphinx in March 2013. He had previously played for Midland Combination side Earlswood Town whom he left to join Sphinx in October 2012. He made in his short spell with Banbury eight appearances but then opted at the end of that season to play football in the USA where he has been playing for Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield, Illinois. He re-signed for Banbury at the beginning of October 2014 upon his return from the US.

    Since re-joining Banbury, he has made 5 appearances which 4 was from the bench. The only game he has started he scored 3 goals while losing 5-3.

    Sub on 80th minute.

    Tue 7th Oct vs Dunstable Town WON 2 - 3.
    Sub on 56th minute.

    Sat 11th Oct Arlesey Town LOST 0 - 2.
    Sub on 68th minute.

    Tue 14th Oct vs Daventry Town LOST 3 - 5.
    Started & scored 3 goals on 31st, 78th & 80th minutes.

    Sat 18th Oct vs Chippenham Town LOST 3 - 0.
    Sub on 73rd minute.

    Lewis Ellington is a 15 year old local lad in school

    Any relation to Nathan (The Duke) who used to play for us ? If he is half a s useful as The Duke he could be a goodun for the future.
