Events of the past week have basically left true supporters of our club absolutely devastated. From the promise of a takeover by the country's richest man we have been left with the unholy trinity, synonymous with everything that went wrong pre-Warnock, cashing in on success painstakingly delivered by others and having the brass neck to blame Ishan Saksena for the problems of the FA inquiry and sacking him.

It is possible, taking the glass half empty view, to think that our club will now descend into more of the farcical management displayed by Flav in the first two and a half years after the takeover. Warnock's days would appear numbered, no doubt replaced by an Italien past his sell by date. The team will once again be torn apart and have no spirit and with relegation threatening, the 'boutique' would be put up for sale post-Mittal, which could leave us open to another asset-stripper type regime, Don't talk about a new stadium with Bernie in charge, he doesn't do spending so the fleeced faithful will be forced to pay eye-watering prices for 2nd rate facilities, in line with the Emirates etc. Bernie isn't bothered about being popular, megalomaniacs wear being loathed as a badge of honour, the only way to get to him is to cut off his sources of profit.

That brings me to the glass half full view. Bad publicity doesn't sell tickets, no amount of spin can negate what is 'bleedin' obvious'. The events at Loftus Road this month have been major headline news, because we are now Premier League every story will be a big story, the things Flav got away with in the Championship through miniscule press coverage will now be headline news. Bernie being Bernie will not want his 'investment' undermined by his fat bastard Italien problem child and his slimy sidekick, there is far more that can go wrong and reduce the value of the 'investment' than is likely to go right unless large amounts of money are forthcoming, preferably from 'investors'. With Mittal now sidelined, a source of investment is no longer there, apparently this could seriously undermine Bernie's plan to make a financial killing. I don't believe Bernie will want to risk losing a major profit on our club, he paid £14 million and took on our debt, he already has taken £20 million off Mittal. If the offer of £90 million including the £40 million debts are to be believed Bernie will be quids in anyway, so the glass half full view is we are moving into the second phase of the bidding process and a deal isn't that far away.

It may take some elements of the glass half empty view to arrive at the glass half full result but I truly believe Bernie will be gone by Christmas, if not, I'll be reaching for a very full glass of something strong. In the meantime the Scarf and Flag protest is the way forward...

Thank You SuperHoop for your views, I can only add my view to the mix and that is I can't see the any of the unholy trinity leaving before Christmas. I can only assume their demise if (let's hope not) we get relegated this coming season, or an offer is made to them they simply can't refuse, not necessarily from the Mittals, as I firmly believe Bern et al will now reject any offer the Mittals make, just out of spite.
In summary for as long as QPR are a PL side they will reign, unless a huge financial offer is made, but not necessarily from the Mittals.
